About PIAC
PIAC is managed by a Board of Directors composed of ten members who are highly reputable among the local business and professional communities in Vietnam. These members are selected to provide and maintain a balance of leading professional practitioners and businesspeople.

The Board of Directors is the final authority for the proper application of the PIAC rules. Its key functions are appointing tribunals, determining challenges to arbitrators, and controlling costs.

The Board of Directors does not have an active role in the administration of dispute resolution procedures, though it performs the administrative function. Although the Board of Directors meets regularly in plenary session, most of the functions to be performed by it under the PIAC rules and procedures are performed, on its behalf, by the President.

Headed by the Secretary-General, the Secretary-General is based in Saigon and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of all disputes referred to PIAC.
